5b7ddb0105 buffer: remove buffer id 
The buffer id is not needed/used, we use the index of the buffer in the
buffer array when configuring the port.

0e91276a03 fmt-ops: SSE functions were really SSE2 
The SSE functions used integer operations and were really SSE2 so
rename.
Optimize some more.
